Ashley & Kelly were delighted to be invited to attend the annual British Institute of Innkeepers (BII) luncheon at ‘Old Billingsgate’ in London. Both had been part of the judging panel for the Licensee of the Year Award where the recipient was to be announced at the event.
During the lunch, Steven Alton, CEO of the BII then introduced a new award, the very first ‘Ambassadors of the BII’. Ashley and Kelly were blown away to be announced as Ambassadors to the BII. ‘These ambassadors were recognised for the hard work that they do, both behind the scenes and in the public eye, to champion the hospitality sector’ said Steven. There were six ambassadors announced, most notably TV Chef Tom Kerridge, who gave an impassioned speech about his love for the sector
